So I want to see a few bands on the Warped tour, but I fucking hate those festival tour things. You get ripped off, you can't see the bands, Todd McWhitehat gets in your face so you get into a fight, then spend the rest of the show ducking security. The goood bands get short sets and you go home broke, burnt, bruised and sober because the beer was twelve bucks. Fuck that!
These tours are good for the bands, and I'm not against any band making a living as a band, but it fucks over the clubs during the summer. How many good shows are coming up? NONE, everyone is on the Warped tour, playing for some fucks who are just waiting around until the CUTE bands play. Fuck the Warped tour. Unless my friends in the home office can get me a pass...
