1. We (America) have ZERO credibility in Islamic countries. Our embargo of Iraq only affected poor Iraqis, as Saddam was still livin' large the last twelve years.

2. Almost every Palistinian killed by Israel is killed by ordinance stamped "Made In USA". We talk about wanting a Palistinian state, but we don't push for a UN resolution for Israel to abandon Gaza and the West Bank.

3. Every civilan killed by our attack will piss off more people. These people will see that you can't win against the US in a straight up fight, so the angriest will join groups like Al-Queda or form new ones.

We need to stop supporting monarchies in the Middle East, push for a free Palistinan state, set up a UN controlled buffer zone and make Jerusalem an international city, accesable to worshipers of all faiths.

We should ween ourselves from petroleum as our primary energy source, stop selling arms to anyone in the region, and start looking like the good guy for a change.
