So Sunday night I watched the Oscars. We only have one tv and Xteen had it on when i got home from work. Normally I wouldn't care. In fact, the only straight men who care about the Oscars are AT the Oscars...

So, people were shocked at Michael Moore's Anti-Bush/War rant. What? You don't give the author of Stupid White Men a podium for 45 seconds and expect him to thank mom and Jesus! This is the guy who brought homeless people to Greenwich, CT to swim at the town beach, forcing (and winning) a court case over puplic land and class discrimination. This is the guy who has bugged, mocked, and annoyed the rich for entertainment. I wasn't offended by the rant, mostly because it was true. It's not Un-American to express your opinions in public. It's your right and duty as a citizen to do so.

I'm still anti-war, but I'm pro warrior. I think now it's started, all we can do is hope for a quick resolution. While a long bogged down war would hurt Bush, it would also kill a lot of American and Iraqi people and cause even more damage to our country's international reputation. I hope the military can finish up quickly and come home. Then we can try to clean up the mess Bush leaves whe we vote him out of office next year. As your next President, I promise not to step on my dick like George the lesser has.
